The historic Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa was delighted to host this year’s Lavenham Literary Festival Dinner with guest speaker Craig Brown. Craig spoke about his two most recent books One, Two, Three, Four, The Beatles in Time and A Voyage Around the Queen.

Craig has written for Private Eye since 1989 and is the author of over 20 books including the award winning Ma’am Darling, ’99 Glimpses of Princess Margaret and The Beatles in Time, which won the Baillie Gifford Award. He has won the Sony Gold Award for Radio Comedy.

Craig brought his unique approach to the most famous woman on earth, looking at the life of Queen Elizabeth II from his own idiosyncratic angle.
